“This e-book is notable for the amount of depth it contains. It makes an honest effort to get to the bottom of the differences between cultures with regard to their histories and religions. This is in no way a “simplified” book by any stretch of the imagination.
The textbook is full of research and current examples, both of which help bring the concepts of cultural diversity and diversity in general to life for my students. My students find the topics and the text more interesting as a result of the approach, particularly when I challenge them to respond and react to activities or questions found at the end of the chapters or in the resource manual. The technique taken in the text helps to attain that objective, which is where I put much of my focus, rather than merely on the theory.
