In the Words of the Author
In the year 1990, Al Trujillo began his teaching career at Palomar College, which is located in San Marcos, California. Trujillo earned the Distinguished Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching from Palomar College in 1997. In 2005, he was presented with the Faculty Research Award from the same college. This book would not have been written without Al's contributions. This title, which was written around the legacy of Hal Thurman, has been brought back to life by Al. Al is familiar with these students and has perfected the ability to engage them in conversation. This book is a direct representation of his ability to develop a narrative around the subject matter, which is the primary focus of the book. In addition to that, he is a contributing author for the Tarbuck/Lutgens franchise's Earth and Earth Science publications. In addition to his work as a writer and educator, Al is a naturalist and lecturer on natural history expedition vessels in Alaska and the Sea of Cortez/Baja California. These locations are located in the United States. Beach processes, sea cliff erosion, and computer applications in oceanography are some of the topics that interest him in terms of research.
