Since it was first released, ISO 9000: 2008 has been amended, and 2015 has seen the publication of ISO 9000: 2015. The focus of the newly revised and updated Quality Management in Construction Projects; 2nd edition (PDF) will be on risk-based thinking, which is something that needs to be considered at the very beginning of a project and all throughout its life cycle. In the first edition of this book, several quality-related topics such as Supplier Management, Risk Management, Customer Relationships, Tools for Construction Projects, Quality Audits, and Quality Management were not discussed. These topics relate to quality. In addition, some of the tables and figures in the ebook needed to be brought up to date in order to make it more thorough.
